This means the password you use on ECE systems is the same one you use everywhere else at UW &#8211; your NetID password.<\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>For information on changing your NetID password, <a href=\"https:\/\/itconnect.uw.edu\/security\/uw-netids\/about-uw-netids\/#passwords\"> please refer to UW&#8217;s instructions<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Important note:<\/strong> Never share your password with anyone, even if they ask you for it! And never send your password over email.<\/p>\n<h3>Research Systems<\/h3>\n<p>ECE research groups will either be using UW NetID or local accounts they&#8217;ve set up themselves.
