Below explains how to use the\u00a0system, the submission deadlines, and other general rules.<\/p>\n<h2>Due Dates and General Rules<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Approvals of hourly timesheets are always due on the 1st and the 16th of each month by 2:00pm<\/strong> (or the next business\u00a0day after the pay\u00a0period ends).<\/li>\n<li>A reminder email is sent to primary and backup supervisors on the day that timesheets are due.<\/li>\n<li>A second reminder email is sent to primary supervisors on the 3rd and the 18th of the month if there are still submitted timesheets pending approval on the worklist.<\/li>\n<li>In order to ensure payment on the current payday, timesheets must be submitted and approved by the <a href=\"https:\/\/vannevar.ece.uw.edu\/operations\/payroll\/deadlines.html\">timesheet deadlines<\/a>. If timesheet approvals are received after the due date, hours will be entered as time permits. If no time permits, hours will be added on to the next paycheck.<\/li>\n<li>A timesheet must be submitted for each pay period\u00a0even if there were\u00a00 hours worked.<\/li>\n<li>An employee can submit a timesheet at any point during the pay period as long as there are no future hours on it.<\/li>\n<li>An employee can submit their hours at any time during the current day. For example: Today is 3\/18, and the employee signs in at 8:00 am.
