How to Request a New ECE Procard:  

Step 1: Complete the ProCard training and assessment  

  • The ProCard training and assessment must be completed before submitting an application form in UW Connect.  
  • A minimum score of 22 out of 24 is required to pass the assessment.

Step 2: Complete and submit a Card Services Form in UW Connect.  

  • Submit the card application in UW Connect, and include the assessment score received in the comments section. 
  • The department ProCard approver must approve the application. 
  • The ProCard Office reviews and approves the application. Email notice will be sent to the cardholder when the card arrives in the ProCard office, typically in 7-10 business days. 

 Step 3: Activate Card – Follow the emailed instructions to: 

  • Activate your ProCard 
  • Set up alerts
  • Set up pin number 

How to Reconcile your Procard Charges:

  1. Compile your procard packet (electronic is preferred method for document retention)  
  2. Approval to make purchase and charge worktag from budget authority (or blanket approval) 
  3. Receipt for purchase showing amount charged to procard
  4. Signed Packing slip confirming receipt 
  5. Find your transaction in Workday and complete the steps to code your transaction to the correct Worktag and on the correct accounting code for what you ordered.
