Changing Your Password

The ECE department no longer maintains a separate ECE account infrastructure. This means the password you use on ECE systems is the same one you use everywhere else at UW – your NetID password.

For information on changing your NetID password, please refer to UW’s instructions.

Important note: Never share your password with anyone, even if they ask you for it! And never send your password over email.

Research Systems

ECE research groups will either be using UW NetID or local accounts they’ve set up themselves. ECE Computing does not administer research computers.
